Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Online In-Person Tutor to support Year 3 students in developing their skills across Science, English, Maths, and Geography. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to inspire young learners, tailor engaging lessons to individual needs, and foster a love of learning through both virtual and face-to-face sessions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience working with children in diverse learning environments. Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Science, English, Maths, and Geography tailored to Year 3 students’ curriculum and individual learning styles.
  • Conduct both online and in-person tutoring sessions, ensuring a supportive environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
  • Assess students’ understanding through regular feedback, adapting teaching methods to meet their evolving needs.
  • Foster a positive learning atmosphere by building strong rapport with students and maintaining open communication with parents or guardians.
  • Track student progress meticulously, maintaining detailed records of lesson plans, achievements, and areas for improvement.
  • Incorporate educational resources and technology tools to enhance the learning experience.
  • Support students with special educational needs by implementing appropriate strategies and accommodations as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching young children, particularly at the primary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum across Science, English, Maths, and Geography.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and motivate students.
  • Experience working with children with diverse learning needs or in special education settings is highly desirable.
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches for both online platforms and face-to-face interactions.
  • Passion for education and fostering student growth through engaging instructional techniques.
