AgroChemex Environmental is a small but dynamic organisation based in Essex, specialising in registration trials for the Chemical industry, providing both aquatic and terrestrial ecotoxicology studies.

We are an established contract research organisation and work with a large number of customers providing high quality studies in compliance with GLP. As we are a small team, we expect staff to take on a wide range of responsibilities, both practical and office based. As the business is expanding, we are looking to recruit new members to our team.

The role requires the individual to assist with and perform elements of ecotoxicology studies, with both aquatic and terrestrial species in accordance with recognised guidelines

Liaise with customers to provide a high-quality service Maintain and monitor cultures of various test organisms

Assist with laboratory support duties, such as cleaning and calibration of equipment Full training will be provided

Pre-requisites:

· Minimum A-level qualification in science, or equivalent experience

· A good working knowledge of mathematics essential

· A willingness to learn

· Experience of working in a lab could be an advantage

· Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK; we are unable to sponsor visas

Advantages:

· Experience of GLP

· Experience in PiL and Home Office modules for working with animals
