£12.71 per hour, plus holiday pay
Part time - 10 hours per week, term time only - fixed term until 31 July 2027

About the role:
We're looking for an Insight Research Assistant to work here at Leeds University Union. The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving the success of LUU by supporting the Insight Team in designing surveys, gathering and analysing data, and writing reports.

Some of the main responsibilities would include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of surveys, focus groups, interviews and other research activities.
  • Analysing quantitative and qualitative data to identify key themes, trends and insights.
  • Conducting secondary research to inform research projects and help develop recommendations.
  • Supporting the creation of data dashboards, reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Working closely with the Insight Lead and colleagues across LUU to turn student insight into meaningful actions and improvements.

LUU offers development opportunities through training, job shadowing and wider organisational involvement in key projects and initiatives.  The position is predominantly office based, working mostly office hours, but will allow a percentage of hybrid working.
