This is a unique and exciting opportunity to make a real impact at a small but growing digital marketing agency.

Superb Digital is a small agency based in Spike Island, central Bristol. We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Account Manager to join our team. You will be taking over the management of our client portfolio from the Managing Director, ensuring a smooth transition to become their first point of contact in the business.

The job will involve a good deal of project management, as well as engaging and working with our client base of small businesses, across multiple sectors, to improve their online marketing via SEO, PPC and a variety of other channels.

As the sole Account Manager in the business, you will be a confident and self assured individual, extremely organised and results orientated, with a strong aptitude for project management. You will also have a good understanding of search marketing strategy and delivery and know how to communicate this effectively to people who don’t have a background in digital marketing.

Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to our client’s business growth by building and maintaining fruitful, long-term, client relationships.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Project managing client campaigns
  • Capacity planning
  • Running internal meetings with the team to ascertain campaign performance / scope creep / challenges to delivery
  • Helping the directors create budgets and work plans for clients
  • Troubleshooting issues and barriers to campaign delivery
  • Generating and managing client work requests
  • Quality assurance on campaign deliverables
  • Systems management & development

Account Management

  • Becoming the main point of contact for clients over phone and email
  • Building strong, long-term client relationships and keeping the client informed and engaged
  • Regular campaign updates with clients via video call
  • Attending internal and external meetings as and when required
  • Driving to client’s businesses from time to time to attend meetings in person
  • Populating client discovery form and onboarding new clients
  • Developing market knowledge of key client’s businesses
  • Identifying opportunities to cross sell new services to existing clients
  • Seeking client feedback and asking for testimonials

Additional Duties

  • Staying up-to-date with digital marketing trends
  • Supporting Superb Digital’s business development activities
  • Implementing and developing a CRM

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience as an account manager in a digital marketing agency
  • Proven experience of cultivating successful working relationships and managing client accounts
  • Hands on experience with SEO / SEM strategy and delivery
  • Experience working on website projects
  • Experience with Google Analytics and working with data
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (including GSheets and GDocs) would be an advantage
  • Experience using online marketing and SEO tools would be an advantage
  • Experience working with small businesses and non-marketing professionals
  • Strong understanding of developing marketing strategies
  • Experience using project management and CRM software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Excellent organisational and time keeping skills
  • Self starter, motivated and able to work independently
  • Team player who is at home working in a hard working but relaxed office environment
  • Able to break down and tackle problems methodically
  • Clean driving licence and access to a car
