At DC Flooring we have an exciting opportunity to join our thriving company. We are seeking a Project Contracts Manager to become part of our team. Within this role, you will play a key part in supporting the team in a timely and professional manner in line with our company’s current processes to win projects and continue our growth path.

Job specification:

• Discuss project requirements and specifications with clients onsite and over the phone
• Carry out site survey inspections
• Complete Site Audit reports on the system
• Hire fitters and manage/allocate responsibilities to ensure projects run smoothly
• Create work schedules for fitters on the company simPRO system and ensure projects run to time and within budget
• Liaise with the estimating team to ensure a smooth transition of the client’s quotation and project requirements
• Collate job packs for the fitters on site making sure that they have the information needed to carry out a project
• Liaise with the Operations Manager in terms of purchasing/hiring plant, equipment, and materials
• Carry out Toolbox Talks on site with fitters
• Oversee projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard
• Monitor the project budget to minimise overspending
• Provide progress reports to clients via phone, email, or meetings in person
• Keep the team up to date with any issues, requirements, or updates to ensure the project runs according to plan

Requirements:

• Must be from an industrial flooring/resin/screeding background
• Must have a full clean UK driving Licence and must be willing to travel

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday 08:00-17:00
• This role is office based in Basildon, but there will be a requirement to travel to different sites across the region on a daily basis
