Job Overview

Due to continued expansion, D-MAC Tanks and Construction are looking for experienced, reliable and hardworking Groundworkers / Concrete Workers to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidates will work on a variety of agricultural and rural construction projects across Scotland, including farm buildings, shuttered concrete tanks and other agricultural infrastructure.

The role will involve the preparation, laying, finishing and installation of concrete to a consistently high standard, with a strong focus on quality, safety and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out site preparation, including groundworks, formwork and reinforcement, prior to concrete pours.
• Accurately lay, level, compact and finish concrete to a high professional standard.
• Operate concrete finishing, screeding and associated equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with required quality and safety standards.
• Follow all company and site-specific health and safety procedures.
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in agricultural, industrial or general concrete laying.
• Good understanding of site preparation, concrete placement and finishing techniques.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Location & Start Date

We are looking for experienced candidates who are available to start immediately.

Work is carried out across Angus, Fife, Perthshire and surrounding areas, so a willingness to travel to different sites is essential.
