We are a growing flooring specialist, known for delivering high-quality finishes and reliable service. Due to a solid pipeline of work across Suffolk, we are looking for experienced, hardworking Floor Layers to join our team as a subcontractor.

The Role

You will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials in both residential homes and commercial properties. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, so an eye for detail and a "right first time" attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation: Subfloor preparation including ply-boarding, screeding, and levelling.
• Installation: Fitting a range of materials such as LVT (Karndean/Amtico), laminate, engineered wood, carpet, Wet rooms and vinyl.
• Finishing: Skirting, transitions, and door trimming to ensure a professional finish.
• Customer Service: Representing the company professionally while working in clients' homes.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

• Tools: A full kit of professional flooring tools for your specific trade.
• Transport: A reliable, clean work van suitable for transporting materials and tools.
• Experience: Proven experience in floor laying (portfolio or references preferred).
• Reliability: Punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
• Location: Based within a commutable distance of Ipswich/Suffolk.
