Job Overview
We are seeking a selection of skilled and versatile Tradesmen/women to join our teams. The ideal candidates will possess a broad range of skills in various trades, including building generally, groundworks, plastering, screeding, rendering, painting, 1st fix & 2nd fix carpentry, masonry, basic roofing.
These roles require a firsthand approach and the ability to work independently, or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to exacting standards.
Must have a professional and initiative-taking approach which we require from all our operatives. Candidates with SSSTS or SMSTS qualification will be an advantage, and they must always promote and work in line with H&S regulations.
Our work is generally private high end residential refurbishment's, mainly fitted out with bespoke fixtures and fittings supplied by our Joinery Team. Our work will involve working on historic and listed properties.
Duties
- Perform tasks in relation to your trade and assist with a variety of trade tasks on the project, including general building work such as painting, carpentry, masonry, and roofing.
- provide hand tools, power tools, and use them effectively and safely to complete tasks.
- Interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- from time-to-time work as a self-sufficient worker, conducting regular maintenance and repairs on existing structures and installations, reporting to the contracts manager.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project requirements and updates.
- Reporting to the on-site Supervisor daily, visiting Contract Manager and Directors.
- assist in arranging materials & deliveries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in one or more of the following trades: building generally, groundworks, plastering, screeding, rendering, painting, 1st fix & 2nd fix carpentry, masonry, basic roofing.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Excellent diligence and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness with the capability to perform manual tasks for extended periods.
- Own transport required to and from site locations in Hampshire & Surrey.

In all locations, working times are 730am-430pm (2 x 30min breaks) Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday working if the project requires. 8.5hrs paid per day.
