Job Description
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join our team working on long term contracts in the Northwest. The role involves the following works in domestic properties as part of a broader adaptation project including:
- Prepare surfaces for flooring installation by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing.
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specifications.
- Install flooring materials using adhesives, nails, or staples
- Apply finishes to flooring materials as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed to code and complies with safety guidelines.
- Clean and maintain job sites, tools, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service.
- Update records of work performed and materials used.
- Experience and extensive knowledge in preparing and laying of vinyl floors, flat lay and cap and cove including hot welded joints, coved skirting, screeding.

Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in laying cap and cove vinyl safety flooring
- Hold a full, UK Driving Licence
- Qualified to a minimum L2 NVQ
