Job Title: Night Shift Forklift Operator

Salary & Benefits:

  • Annual salary of £44,000
  • Long Service Recognition Scheme
  • 50-hours per week
  • Full-time position
  • 6:00pm till 4:00am

The Company:

EPD Insulation Group Ltd Supply Dry Lining, Plastering and Screeding materials to the Trade and Public. We are currently looking to employ a Forklift Driver/Yard Operative with a valid RTITB Counterbalance license to join our growing team. The company is based in Peterborough, PE2 6YG and has free parking facilities available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately picking stock and preparing customer loads for dispatch
  • Loading stock onto company vehicles ready for delivery
  • Assembling delivery loads both manually and via Counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • Moving company vehicles around site (such as HGV's and Vans)
  • Securing vehicles loads with ratchets and straps
  • Manually handling, moving, loading and unloading heavy materials
  • Ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures set by the organisation
  • Housekeeping duties for the warehouse and yard areas

Key Experience For This Role:

  • Experience in a similar role or experience within a warehousing/yard environment
  • Applicants must hold a valid RTITB Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
  • Shunter Driver Experience (Desireable)
  • Applicants to hold a valid Heavy Goods Vehicle (C+E) Licence (Desireable)
  • A logical approach to problem solving and the ability to handle changing workloads and priorities
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised
  • Experience working within a fast-paced working environment
