We are a family‑run flooring company looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join our team. The role involves a mix of domestic and contract work, delivering high‑quality installations with a focus on reliability and customer care.

Responsibilities

• Fitting carpets, vinyl, LVT, cap and cove and other flooring types
• Preparing subfloors (screeding, ply boarding, repairs)
• Working on domestic homes, commercial sites and contract projects
• Measuring, cutting and installing flooring to a high standard
• Maintaining a professional and friendly approach with customers
• Ensuring jobs are completed on time and to specification

Requirements

• Proven experience as a floor layer
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Full UK driving licence and CSCS card
• Good communication and customer‑service skills
