Gym Interiors & Flooring

XL Gym Interiors has been established for 5+ years, leading Projects across the UK and due to steady growth are now looking to hire a resilient and hardworking Technician to join our Installs operation - on a Self-Employed basis.

Were a small and very efficient team, we start early we finish early and we deliver second to none results. Projects can lead to overnight stays / working away, in which case we cover all expenses; including Accommodation, Subsistence and travel.

What we’re looking for:

  • Honest, punctual, and professional
  • Willingness to train and learn our systems
  • Comfortable with early starts and hands-on work
  • Available 4+ days per week
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail

Main Duties (with Training)

  • Sub Floor Preparation (Grinding, Screeding, DPM etc)
  • Flooring Installation (LVT, Rubber, Acoustic flooring)
  • Decorative LED Installation
  • Mirror Installation
  • Joinery
  • Light demolition works
  • Gym Equipment removal (rare / on occasion)

The role is fast paced and project based, with 1 working away requirement per week – Work van provided / full expenses paid and our working day is typically 8 hours, however where projects are complete, early finishes are granted. Experience in installations, flooring, or fit-outs is beneficial but not essential for the right person as full in depth training will be provided.
