Job Role
Experience -
Experience in joint sealing, overbanding, ironworks, or small civils
Experience working within construction, highways maintenance, or civil engineering
Good understanding of site health and safety requirements
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong work ethic and willingness to work flexible hours/travel
Duties
Key Responsibilities -
Joint preparation and installation of hot and cold-applied sealants
Crack sealing and overbanding operations
Screeding and surface finishing works
Installation, repair, and replacement of ironworks, including manhole covers, frames, gullies, and access covers
Carrying out small civils works including concrete repairs, kerbing, patching, drainage repairs, and reinstatement works
Saw cutting, routing, and preparation of asphalt and concrete surfaces
Safe operation of specialist plant, equipment, and tools
Completing daily vehicle, plant, and equipment inspections
Maintaining accurate records and site documentation
Complying with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements
Working effectively as part of a team to deliver projects safely, on time, and to a high standard
Person Specification
Essential -
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable -
Street Works Qualification (NRSWA)
HGV Licence
Plant tickets (e.g. floor saw, mini road planer etc)
First Aid at Work qualification
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday
