We are seeking a skilled Labourer / Floor Preparation Operative to join and support our screeding teams across the South- East and East of England.

About CSC Screeding

CSC Screeding Ltd is a well-respected company known for delivering high-quality work in floor insulation, mechanical preparation, flowing screed, resin surfaces, specialist screeding systems, and underfloor heating. Based in Langley, SL3 6DH, we operate across construction sites in London, the Southeast, and the East of the UK.

Role Involves:

• preparing floors for Screeding works, utilising a range of hand and power tools, and supporting various aspects of our projects.
• Ideally previous experience within flooring, ground works, or multi skills with experience using hand and power tools, measuring, and cutting materials, and previous experience working on construction sites would be advantageous, with a keen eye for detail and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the construction industry while contributing to high-quality project delivery.

Work Includes

• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
• DPM & insulation installation
• Floor grinding & Scabbling
• Concrete floor preparation
• Cutting angles, installing perimeter strip
• Using hand and power tools
• Screed repairs

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction or floor preparation work is highly desirable
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic cutting/carpentry techniques
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, measure dimensions, basic maths skills
• Manual handling
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good physical fitness
• Relevant health & safety awareness; willingness to adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
• CSCS card required
• Full UK driving licence
• Early starts and travel to sites
