The Role

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our team at Sonin — a fast-paced digital agency building solutions across a wide range of industries. Responsible for leading the successful delivery of multiple projects, using Agile methodologies.

You'll be responsible for timelines, budgets, customer goals and ensuring products are delivered successfully. Through excellent client service, you'll build trusted partnerships and ensure our clients love working with us.

Our Project Managers are key drivers of a great client experience, ensuring excellent communication and engagement throughout their relationship with us.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the successful delivery of multiple, active customer projects using the Sonin project framework and ensure teams remain focused on agreed customer and product outcomes.
  • Make decisions based on commercial, client, product and team priorities.
  • Be accountable for the successful delivery of all assigned projects using some Agile methodologies.
  • Ensure projects, through from product-discovery to delivery, align with business goals, are of high-quality standards and satisfy agreed timelines and budgets, whilst maintaining customer value.
  • Partner closely with clients and internal product teams to shape product roadmaps, refine priorities and support product decisions that align with user needs, technical feasibility and business objectives.
  • Challenge priorities where appropriate, ensuring the team is always focused on delivering the highest-value outcomes.
  • Record and track data to provide information to management on progress, blockages, solutions and successes to support data-driven decisions.
  • Build strong client engagement, stakeholder communications and collaboration within and across teams.
  • Enable and support the cross-functional teams to deliver on outcomes and timelines.
  • Proactively identify and remove delivery blockers, manage changes, risks, dependencies and issues through good problem-solving skills.
  • Translate complex technical information received from developers and other project team members and communicates it in a way the client understands.
  • Focus on learning and understanding industry best practice.

Qualities & Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills for planning and prioritising project and individual work loads.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead, motivate and direct project teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to help build client relationships.
  • Strong problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Commercial mindset.
  • Client-focused communication and planning.

Work Experience

  • Experience liaising with customers on complex IT projects.
  • Experience using Kanban and Agile practices.
  • Experience producing project plans, evaluating risks and identifying mitigation actions.
  • Experience tracking and controlling project budgets and other KPIs.

Benefits

  • 22 days holiday with an additional day of leave each year up to 27 days.
  • Flexible working hours around core hours of 10:00-16:00.
  • Option for flexible Bank Holidays to celebrate religious/cultural holidays.
  • Bi-annual whole team social events.
  • Bespoke learning plans and training.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Health and Wellbeing – Mental Health First Aiders, Mental Health at Work training.
