Temporary Warehouse Operative

Contract: Term (1 September – 30 December)

Salary: £13,219 per year (based on £26,000 FTE, pro rata for contract duration)

Hours: 20 hours per week (Overtime Available)

Shift Pattern: Flexible availability required, including weekdays and weekends, with day and evening shifts.

Operating Hours: 09:00 – 23:00

Destiny Entertainments Ltd is looking for Temporary Warehouse Operatives to join our team during our busy seasonal period. This fixed-term opportunity is ideal for individuals looking for flexible part-time work in a modern, purpose-built warehouse environment.

Job Purpose

To support warehouse operations by picking, packing, loading and unloading, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently while maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately using warehouse systems and equipment
  • Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Work to performance and accuracy targets
  • Follow all health and safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills for warehouse systems
  • Physical fitness to meet the demands of a warehouse environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Warehouse experience preferred but not essential
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, days, and evenings within operating hours of 09:00–23:00
