Job Title: Music Maternity Cover Teacher
Contract Type: Fixed-term (1 year)
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team on a one-year maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to deliver high-quality music education and inspire students across a range of abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive music lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Foster a positive and creative learning environment
  • Prepare students for performances, assessments, and school events
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular music activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching music at relevant key stages
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
  • Good organisational and communication skills
