Job summary
Join our Outpatient Administration team at Musgrove Park Hospital, an exciting role within our General Outpatients Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our busy and supportive Outpatient Administration team at Musgrove Park Hospital. You will take responsibility for covering reception and supporting a variety of tasks across the department, with the flexibility to provide cross cover for colleagues during periods of absence to ensure continuity of service and patient care.
The role requires adherence to Trust policies and a commitment to upholding the Trust's values and standards in all aspects of your work.

Main duties, tasks & skills required
The post holder is required to cover reception duties in Outpatient settings providing support to the clinical teams who see patients in that area. Tasks will include checking in of patients, collecting and updating patient demographics, assisting with patients checking in on automated systems, answering patient queries, preparing patient notes for clinic, scanning and verifying clinic correspondence, and booking of outpatient appointments. There will be an expectation to provide cross cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
The post holder is required to participate in team and Trust meetings as requested and adhere to Trust Policies and maintain the Trusts values and core standards.
