Full job description

DCL Hearing Ltd is a long running specialist ear mould manufacturing business. Operating for over 60 years, we provide both Private and NHS custom ear moulds for deaf patients across the UK, along with noise protection plugs, musicians ear pieces, presenter moulds, and anything else related to custom ear protection and hearing.

We are looking to take on an Administrative Assistant to aid in areas such as; taking telephone calls, replying to emails, assisting with the day to day operations, delivery notes and invoice producing. This job role will not require an upfront knowledge of ear moulds or inner ear anatomy, any information required in relation to the ear will be taught to the individual hired for the role. This role is a slightly more hands on role than a standard administrative role and will incorporate; Packing items for posting, searching through stores for specific items, organising storage etc.

No specific qualifications are required to apply for this job role, some preferred experience / qualities are as follows:

- A well spoken polite manner for telephone engagements.

- A good vocabulary to communicate a clear, well explained answer via email.

- Experience in dealing with customers vocally or face to face is preferred.

- Experience with Microsoft excel to a moderate level is preferred.

- Experience of working with invoices is preferred.

- An ability to remain organised under pressure.

- A quick learner and an ability to remain calm whilst problem solving is preferred.
