Full job description
Thomas Bell are the UK’s largest privately owned fertiliser importer, supplier and manufacturer and we are looking for a Part Time Administration Assistant to join our team.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a part-time position with Wednesday as a guaranteed working day. The remaining working days and hours can be agreed to provide flexibility for both the successful candidate and the business.
- Acquire a basic understanding of how the Newport site operates day to day
- Accurately process fertiliser orders and send order confirmations to customers following GDPR and company guidelines
- Manage booking in procedure from hauliers, track of stock and advise site manager of production requirements
- Partaking in stock counts, informing Site Manager of any discrepancies and keeping stock visibility spreadsheet up to date
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise data tasks accurately and efficiently
- Manage phone calls and correspondence with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Assist in maintaining office organisation and filing systems
- Handle clerical duties such as typing, copying, and scanning documents
- Support the team with administrative projects as needed
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Maintain an organised and tidy office environment
