John Jackson & Dick, Hamilton
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Legal Secretary to join our team in Hamilton. The job is mainly to provide secretarial support primarily within the Private Client department and other key areas where required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Audio typing and digital dictation;
- Providing Secretarial support which will include preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and all associated paperwork including registration with EPOAR;
- To preparing client letters and emails; to dealing with client queries including by email, letters, meetings to sign deeds, carrying out money laundering identification checks and telephone calls;
- Managing diaries and making appointments;
- All related office administration;
- Providing support to other team members and departments where required;
The candidate ideally would have the following key attributes:
- Experience within a Private Client team and a strong client focus and knowledge of the legal processes;
- Fast and accurate typing skills and be a strong team player;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages;
- High level of attention to detail;
- Organised and able to prioritise.
