Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Licensed Guards to join our security team within the Film and TV industry. This role involves maintaining a secure environment on set locations, ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong work ethic, enthusiasm and superb observation skills and be certified with a valid SIA licence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative industry, providing essential security services during filming productions.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor film and television sets to ensure safety and security at all times.
  • Conduct regular surveillance patrols around the location to prevent unauthorised access or activity.
  • Implement loss prevention measures by safeguarding equipment, props, and valuable assets.
  • Enforce site access controls by checking credentials and maintaining accurate visitor logs.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies.
  • Collaborate with production staff to coordinate safe filming operations and uphold health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for record-keeping purposes.

Requirements

  • Valid SIA licence with appropriate accreditation guarding in the UK.
  • RTW in the UK. You will be asked for details of your share code if you need to provide one.
  • Registered with UTR number with HMRC for self-employment.
  • Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain vigilant over extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with crew members and emergency services if required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends/days and nights if necessary, subject to production schedules.
  • Professional demeanour with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity on set. This role is vital for ensuring a safe working environment in the vibrant context of film and television production, requiring dedicated individuals committed to excellence in security services.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
