Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Mobile Patrol Officer to join our security team. This role involves patrolling designated areas to ensure safety, prevent loss, and monitor premises effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents. The position offers an engaging environment where professionalism and attentiveness are paramount.

Duties

  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned locations using company vehicles or on foot to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
  • Utilise CCTV systems to observe and record activities within the premises, ensuring all security protocols are maintained.
  • Perform surveillance activities to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access.
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential security breaches and intervening when necessary.
  • Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies, including providing first aid if required until emergency services arrive.
  • Complete detailed incident reports accurately and promptly following any incidents or observations during patrols.
  • Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services when required, maintaining professional communication at all times.
  • Maintain a visible security presence to reassure staff and visitors alike.

Skills

  • Proven experience in surveillance or security roles is desirable.
  • Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
  • Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and procedures.
  • First aid certification is highly advantageous, enabling immediate response to medical emergencies.
  • Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanour.
