Full job description

Stambridge Group are a rapidly expanding company with national sites, supplying security and cleaning services.

There is currently a vacancy for a Dual Role as a Security & Grounds Maintenance Supervisor working within a retail environment. The role can be physically demanding so fitness and wellbeing will be a strong consideration.

The applicants will have the determination, and valuable skills required, to ensure our hygiene standards are met in line with site guidelines. The applicants will have a flexible approach to teamwork.

Main Duties

  • Manage the day to day running of the site and staff, escalating any issues to senior management.
  • Carry out admin tasks, such as monitor and action emails, download and send CCTV footage, ensuring the correct procedures and policies are followed.
  • Security duties include regular patrols, monitoring CCTV, responding to radio calls, assisting members of the public with any queries or questions.
  • General grounds maintenance, cleaning duties include general cleaning / housekeeping duties, basic cleaning of public and communal areas.
  • Complete the daily shift plan in the agreed time scales, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in line with Stambridge Group and the clients expectations.
  • Complete performance monitoring logs, to achieve and maintain the sites own standards.
  • Ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with the site waste disposal policy, assuring Health and Safety standards are adhered to.
  • Removal of rubbish to designated collection points.
  • To report stock control and equipment / kit shortfalls.

Skills & Experience

  • Have an SIA Badge- Essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices.

Hours & Shift Pattern

4 on 4 off, Monday - Friday 1430-2200

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £13.50 per hour
