Join Our Security Team at BA Arc, Olympia!

Important travel requirement: Shift start and finish times may fall outside public transport operating hours. Candidates must therefore live in the immediate vicinity of the W14 area or have suitable alternative transport to travel reliably to and from the venue, however we are unable to provide free parking.

We are recruiting SIA-licensed professionals to join our security team at BA Arc, Olympia. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, patrolling the venue, responding professionally to incidents and delivering excellent customer service.

You will primarily be based at BA Arc, Olympia, with opportunities to work at other SES Group client venues and sites across the country.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and friendly manner at all times.
• Respond promptly to incidents in accordance with SES procedures.
• Act as a point of contact for visitors, providing information and assistance.
• Conduct regular patrols and manage entry and exit points as required.
• Support onsite management teams.
• Follow all SES Group and departmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Assist and escort visitors within the venue when necessary.
• Carry out security searches and follow the HOT procedure for unattended items.
• Support crowd management and respond appropriately to disruptions.
• Identify and report anti-social behaviour in accordance with company procedures.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Ability to remain calm and work effectively under pressure, particularly during live incidents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective use of radios.
• Sound judgement, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• A professional approach, demonstrating integrity when dealing with colleagues, customers and visitors.
• Ability to carry out patrols over long distances and extended periods.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential.
• Customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
• Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) training will be provided.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate a five-year checkable history in accordance with BS7858 screening requirements.
