Event Security Operations Manager

Location: Southeast (Head Office: Near Witham, Essex)
Salary: Up to £45,000 circa (DOE) + Pool Car + Laptop + Mobile
Hours: 45 per week
Contract: Full‑time, Permanent
Start: Immediate

McKenzie Arnold Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced Event Security Operations Manager to oversee security planning, documentation, and operational delivery across a wide range of UK events. We are a market‑leading provider of Event Security & Crowd Management, operating nationwide for over 20 years.

About the Role

You will lead the full security operations process — from planning and CAD/DOC layouts to incident management, reporting, and staff training. This role requires 5+ years’ senior event security management experience, strong documentation skills, and the ability to travel nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Planning for small and large‑scale events
  • Event Documentation including event plans, incident logs, and post‑event reports
  • CAD/DOC Plan Management for crowd management and emergency response
  • Team Leadership and supervision of security personnel
  • Training Delivery and creation of training manuals
  • Health & Safety Compliance including emergency procedures
  • Incident Response and accurate documentation
  • Stakeholder Liaison with organisers, authorities, and emergency services
  • Resource & Budget Management for staffing and equipment

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years’ senior event security management experience
  • Experience managing security for events of 100+ attendees
  • Strong experience writing event plans, reports, and incident logs
  • Proven experience with CAD/DOC security plans
  • Level 4 Spectator Safety Qualification
  • Valid SIA and CCTV licences
  • Experience delivering staff training
  • Willingness to travel nationwide
  • Clean, smart appearance
  • Valid UK driving licence
