Bold Security are now recruiting for Security Officers for an exciting vacancy in the whole Birmingham area.

Duties involved (not an exhaustive list):

• Patrol the area to prevent theft and keep people safe
• Watch for suspicious behaviour and act quickly when needed
• Provide a visible presence to deter crime
• Work with management to maintain security
• Write clear reports of any incidents
• Offer basic customer support when needed
• CCTV monitoring

Duties will increase as the role progresses.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid SIA Licence
• Must have a very clear understanding of English due to regular interaction with members of the public.
• Must be able to speak clear English for radio communications and Tannoy reporting.
• CCTV experience preferred but not essential.
• Good IT skills required as all documentation will be digital.
• Must be able to drive due to site location.
• 5 years proven Right to work history in the UK

For meaningful checks to be carried out, individuals need to have lived in the UK for a sufficient period to enable appropriate checks to be carried out and produce a result which provides the required level of assurance. Security clearance is desirable for the role however this can be applied for upon successful interview procedure. You need to have been a resident in the United Kingdom for the 5 years for SC clearance. People working with government assets must complete basic personnel security standard checks.
