Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Control Room Operative to oversee and monitor our camera system within our recycling facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for watching several monitors maintaining a secure environment through surveillance

Duties

  • Monitor surveillance cameras watching recycled products through the plant
  • Maintain accurate records of down time and observations.
  • Respond promptly to blockages using walki talkies to staff in the plant.
  • Using a SCADA system full training given.
  • Ensure the control room environment remains organised, clean, and secure at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in surveillance or security operations is preferred.
  • Strong report writing skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately.
  • Excellent observational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to emergencies.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • This role is vital in maintaining the safety and smooth running of our recycling facility , and we welcome candidates who are committed to upholding high standards of vigilance and professionalism.
