Security Officer – Winsford

Location: Winsford
Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
Hours of Work: 07:00–19:00
Shift Pattern: Saturday & Sunday weekly
Additional Hours: Opportunities for additional hours at other sites may be available.

About the Role

Alpha Omega Securities Ltd are looking for a reliable, professional and vigilant Security Officer to join our team in Winsford.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the client’s premises, staff, visitors and assets, while providing a professional and visible security presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional and visible security presence on site.
  • Conduct regular patrols to deter theft, vandalism and unauthorised access.
  • Monitor and control access to the premises.
  • Challenge and report any suspicious or unauthorised activity.
  • Monitor CCTV and security systems where applicable.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies and alarms.
  • Complete accurate daily logs, reports and incident records.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, visitors and contractors.
  • Report any security concerns, hazards or breaches of procedure.
  • Work in accordance with the client’s Assignment Instructions and company procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • Valid SIA licence.
  • Previous security experience is desirable.
  • Good communication and observational skills.
  • Professional and approachable manner.
  • Ability to remain alert and vigilant throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual and committed to providing a high standard of security.
