Full job description

AJC Carpentry is seeking skilled 1st and 2nd Fix Site Carpenters to work on new build housing developments in Maidenhead and Bracknell. This is price-work carpentry with strong earning potential and steady, ongoing projects. Please do not apply unless you have experience of working on new build developments and price work.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry.
  • Follow site plans and instructions accurately.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
  • Work closely with the on-site Carpentry Project Manager.
  • Keep work areas and tools clean, safe and well maintained.

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Minimum 3 years’ carpentry experience (improvers considered).
  • Own cordless tools, dust extraction and dust mask.
  • Reliable transport to travel between sites.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver consistent results.

What We Offer

  • Price-work earnings of approximately £1,000–£2,000 per week.
  • Fortnightly payment terms.
  • Regular work across major South East housing developments.
