Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Developer with a strong focus on cross-platform mobile application development using .NET MAUI.

Approximately 80% of your work will involve designing, building, and maintaining iOS and Android applications using .NET MAUI, with the remaining work involving supporting web applications and legacy systems.

This is a hands-on role across the full development lifecycle, from design and development through to deployment and support.

The role is open to candidates at trainee level to intermediate level of experience, we would only require candidates to have some experience of the development environments and platforms, weather that be self taught or qualification based.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI (iOS & Android)
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle
  • Support and maintain existing web applications and systems
  • Debug, test, and deploy software solutions
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver projects to deadline
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in code quality and processes

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with C# and .NET
  • Solid experience with .NET MAUI (mobile application development is essential)
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core and WinForms
  • JavaScript and jQuery
  • Experience building and maintaining software applications
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively

Desirable Skills

  • SQL / database experience
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
  • Experience with Node.js
  • Experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks
