SEND Teacher (Nurture Base Provision)

An inspiring, dedicated, and exceptional SEND Teacher is required to lead a thriving nurture provision within a mainstream primary school. This unique role offers the opportunity to shape a highly inclusive learning environment, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs to succeed both academically and emotionally.

The successful candidate will design a therapeutic, structured environment within the mainstream setting, helping pupils build resilience, confidence, and a readiness to learn.

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will lead and develop the SEND Nurture Base, working closely with the SENDCo and the senior leadership team to deliver targeted, evidence-informed support. You will bring a clear vision for high-quality nurture provision and a deep understanding of how to remove barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, design, and develop a therapeutic, structured Nurture Base environment.
- Work with children exhibiting a range of additional needs, particularly social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team, SENDCO, and other external professionals.
- Maintain high standards of behavior, attainment, and overall expectations.
