Full job description

We are looking for an experienced loan servicing professional to join our Loans Administration team. This role is responsible for the administration and servicing of development finance loans, ensuring all operational, payment, security, and compliance activities are managed accurately throughout the lifecycle of each facility.

Working independently from the front office, the Loans Administration team plays a key role in maintaining controls, ensuring procedures are followed, and supporting the effective management of the loan portfolio.

The successful candidate will work closely with borrowers, solicitors, surveyors, and internal stakeholders to deliver a high standard of service and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing and administering a portfolio of development finance loans throughout their full lifecycle
  • Processing loan transactions, including drawdowns, repayments, fees, and interest payments
  • Reviewing surveyor reports and prepare stage payments for approval
  • Ensuring loan conditions, security requirements, and supporting documentation are completed and maintained
  • Liaising with borrowers, solicitors, surveyors, and internal teams to support ongoing loan servicing activities
  • Opening, updating and maintaining loan accounts and records on the Phoebus system
  • Completing customer due diligence (CDD) and other regulatory checks
  • Monitoring loan performance and arrears, escalating issues where appropriate
  • Reconciling loan and bank accounts and investigate any discrepancies
  • Preparing and reviewing loan statements, redemption statements, and security release documentation
  • Producing management information and support audit and reporting requirements
  • Assisting with the collection of outstanding payments and the ongoing management of borrower accounts
