Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and supervise care staff during shifts
- Assist with staff rotas, inductions, training, supervisions, and appraisals
- Ensure residents receive person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing
- Administer medication and assist with medication management
- Monitor residents' nutrition, hydration, and overall health, reporting concerns appropriately
- Complete and review care plans and maintain accurate care records
- Support residents with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily activities
- Encourage social interaction, hobbies, and meaningful activities
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, relatives, and the wider care team
- Promote safe working practices and comply with all health and safety requirements
About You
- Previous experience working with elderly or vulnerable adults in a care setting
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Medication administration experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering outstanding care
- Willingness to complete all mandatory training requirements
