Senior Children's Residential Support Worker (LD/EBD)

Join us and receive a £1,500 Welcome Bonus!

Join us between 5 April and 5 September 26 as a Senior Care Practitioner on a permanent contract for a welcome bonus paid as you progress in your role*

Location: HR4 and HR1 - Hereford

Salary: £32,000 per annum (incl. 5 contractual sleeps per month) FTE pro rata for part time

Hours: Average 37.5 hours p/w (163 hours p/m) FTE pro rata for part time

Join Flourish as a Senior Care Practitioner, guiding a passionate team to provide consistent, high-quality care and support.

Your Role:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Support Workers
  • Provide a stable, safe, and nurturing environment for children
  • Plan and support engaging, therapeutic activities to build confidence, resilience, and life skills
  • Ensure smooth daily operations by managing shifts, delegating tasks, and supporting new starters.
  • Role-model positive behaviour and support children to achieve their potential
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of daily observations and progress

What You Need:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare or working with challenging behaviours
  • Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Resilience and confidence in supporting both children and staff
  • Full UK driving licence with less than 6 points

Your £1,500 Bonus Breakdown:

  • £250 after 1 month
  • £250 after 3 months
  • £500 after 6 months (end of probation)
  • £500 after 12 months
