Job Role- Senior Care Assistant

Location- Walmley, Sutton Coldfield

Salary- £13.25 per hour

Shifts- Days/Nights, Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and supervise care staff during shifts
  • Assist with staff rotas, inductions, training, supervisions, and appraisals
  • Ensure residents receive person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing
  • Administer medication and assist with medication management
  • Monitor residents' nutrition, hydration, and overall health, reporting concerns appropriately
  • Complete and review care plans and maintain accurate care records
  • Support residents with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily activities
  • Encourage social interaction, hobbies, and meaningful activities
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, relatives, and the wider care team
  • Promote safe working practices and comply with all health and safety requirements

About You

  • Previous experience working with elderly or vulnerable adults in a care setting
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Medication administration experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering outstanding care
  • Willingness to complete all mandatory training requirements
