Full job description

Travel is required to multiple site across the North of England.

Candidate to be based around Leeds, Sheffield or Warrington.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE

Job Summary:

This role provides expert guidance on people matters, drives consistent HR practices, and supports the delivery of business objectives across all environments. The HR Business Partner ensures that talent, culture, compliance, and workforce capability are aligned.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Group People strategy
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
  • Handle conflict resolution, performance concerns, misconduct investigations, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Collaborate with Managers and Reginal Directors to understand department goals and develop HR strategies that support them.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • To Provide at least 2 site visits per month to each responsible site in order to support Managers and Colleagues.
  • Provide guidance to managers on disciplinary cases, grievances, performance concerns, and absence issues.
  • Partner closely with HR Administrators to ensure accurate colleague records, smooth onboarding, and timely processing of HR transactions.
  • Support the rollout of new HR systems, tools, and processes.
  • To conduct any other reasonable duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role within a dynamic organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or related fields are preferred such as CIPD level 5
