As part of our exciting plans for a new M-B Truck & Van depot in Dungannon we are currently recruiting for an additional full-time Service Advisor.

Service Advisor

As a Service Advisor for Mercedes-Benz, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and guidance throughout the vehicle repair process.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30

Job role:

  • First point of contact for customers with substantial influence on customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for the preparation and planning of vehicle bookings
  • Face to face, telephone and email enquiries/bookings from customers and passing on information correctly
  • Retail invoicing as required
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer contact and communications throughout their visit
  • Preparing job packs, checking for recalls and updating Truckfile
  • Liaising with all internal departments; Service colleagues, Sales Executives, Technicians and Parts Advisors
  • Partake in internal and external audits to ensure dealer standards are maintained

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in an automotive service operation or in a comparable role within the service sector
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner
  • Basic technical knowledge and an understanding of service and parts
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a polite and professional manner
  • Strong work ethic and good time management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • IT literate: with the ability to navigate and learn new systems

Desirable Criteria:

  • Working knowledge of Kerridge Dealer Management System
