What will you be doing?

Join our team as a Sewer Maintenance Technician specialising in environmental risk mitigation! You'll be at the forefront of safeguarding against flooding and pollution threats in targeted areas identified through predictive analytics. Your role will involve conducting thorough inspections of assets, implementing preventative measures, and coordinating with specialised departments for extensive maintenance tasks.

As a customer-facing representative, you'll handle inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring swift resolution or escalation when needed. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in pollution incident response, supporting clean-up efforts and ensuring compliance with company protocols. This role would suit somebody with a methodical approach that is comfortable taking ownership and prioritising work that is most critical to our performance.

What does it take to be a Sewer Maintenance Technician?

  • Knowledge/understanding of the sewerage network, including pumping stations
  • Someone who can work autonomously but also as part of a team when required
  • Proactive individual who has a hands-on approach to work

- Analytical thinker- someone who can identify and spot errors confidently and quickly

  • Customer focused
  • Flexible attitude to support the wider team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • In this role you must be able to work within a confined space, and at height without restrictions. Due to harness weight limits, your maximum weight cannot be in excess of 113 kilograms, and you will be expected to complete relevant occupational health checks including Hand-arm Vibration (HAV)
