About the Role

We’re looking for energetic and friendly Customer Service Assistants to join our petrol station team. This role is about more than just operating the till — you’ll be the face of our business, making sure every customer leaves with a smile and a great experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a customer service Assistant – greet customers warmly, assist with queries, and go the extra mile
  • Operate the till accurately and handle cash/card payments confidently
  • Promote offers and upsell products in a polite and professional way
  • Keep the shop floor, bakery, and forecourt stocked, clean, and safe
  • Prepare and serve bakery items, ensuring freshness at all times
  • Complete cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and welcoming environment
  • Represent Shell brand by wearing a clean uniform and professional appearance
  • Support your team and contribute to smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For

  • A natural people-person with excellent communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Positive attitude with energy and enthusiasm
  • Retail, cashier, or hospitality experience preferred (but not essential – full training provided)
  • Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
