Junior Creative Technologist

We're looking for a Junior Creative Technologist to support the development of generative image and video workflows within a film production environment.

This role is well-suited to someone early in their career who is highly curious, technically inclined, and visually literate — and wants to deepen their understanding of ComfyUI-based pipelines and photorealistic AI output.

You'll work closely with Midweight and Senior team members to build, test, and refine structured workflows.

What You'll Do
  • Assist in building and testing ComfyUI node graphs
  • Support image and video generation experiments
  • Implement structured prompting systems
  • Follow established workflow templates and naming conventions
  • Troubleshoot common issues (denoise behaviour, LoRA stacking, seed locking)
  • Assist with dataset preparation and reference gathering
  • Maintain clean version control of node graphs
  • Ensure outputs match established start frames and visual direction
  • Maintain consistency in lighting logic, composition, and scale
What We're Looking For
  • Working knowledge of ComfyUI
  • Understanding of samplers, steps, and CFG scale
  • Understanding of LoRAs, conditioning, and seed behaviour
  • Strong visual instincts — lighting, composition, realism
  • Familiarity with Photoshop or equivalent compositing tools
Nice to Have
  • Basic Python knowledge
  • Familiarity with ControlNet systems
  • Understanding of colour management and 16-bit workflows
  • Exposure to film, VFX, or photography environments

You are detail-oriented, technically curious, and eager to experiment within structured systems. You enjoy learning how things work under the hood and thrive in fast-paced creative environments. Please send CV and portfolio.
