Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Locum SHO (ST1/ST2) to join our NHS Trust on an immediate basis. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care while working as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of clinical specialties. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain further NHS experience within a supportive clinical environment.
Essential Requirements
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise.
- Minimum 2 years' NHS clinical experience.
- Valid Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.
- Commitment to delivering safe and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients under consultant supervision.
- Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and on-call rotas where required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Liaise effectively with nursing staff, allied healthcare professionals, and senior clinicians.
- Ensure compliance with Trust policies, GMC guidance, and clinical governance standards.
- Contribute to patient safety, quality improvement, and service delivery initiatives.
