Full job description

Job Title: Showroom & Administrative Assistant

Location: Elgin

Hours: Part-time, 16-24 hours per week. Flexible for the right candidate. One day at weekend essential.
Flexibility: Additional hours may be available during holiday periods

About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Showroom & Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role combining customer-facing showroom duties with essential administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and assisting customers in the showroom, providing a positive and professional experience
  • Answering enquiries in person, by phone, and via email
  • Maintaining the appearance and organisation of the showroom
  • General administrative tasks
  • Managing appointment bookings and supporting the wider team

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and approachable manner
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Basic IT proficiency (e.g. Microsoft Office or similar systems)
  • Previous retail, showroom, or administrative experience is desirable
  • Social media marketing experience advantageous

Working Hours

  • 16-24 hours per week, including one day at the weekend
  • Flexibility to work additional hours during busy holiday periods
