About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Workplace Host to join our team at a prestigious corporate London HQ on a 14-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a workplace transformation, with the client relocating to a brand-new headquarters during the contract period. We are seeking someone who thrives in a changing environment, embraces new ways of working, and is passionate about supporting colleagues and visitors through the transition.

The Workplace Host will be responsible for delivering a seamless, 5-star concierge-style experience for all building users. Acting as the face of the Workplace Team, you will be highly visible, approachable, and always available to help. You will proactively engage with colleagues and visitors, anticipate their needs, and ensure every interaction is professional, welcoming, and memorable.

Working within a corporate headquarters environment, you will support workplace operations, visitor management, first-line IT and AV assistance, facilities coordination, security processes, and day-to-day workplace experience activities. You will be an active member of the Workplace Team, ready to support any area when required and committed to maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

  • Operate with a "How Can I Help?" mindset.
  • Deliver a professional, friendly, and attentive service at all times.
  • Greet, acknowledge, and assist visitors and colleagues throughout the building.
  • Anticipate and respond proactively to the needs of building users.
  • Be the visible "go-to" person for workplace support and queries.
  • Build strong relationships with regular visitors and colleagues.
  • Manage lobby areas and queues to ensure an efficient arrival and departure experience.
  • Maintain exceptional presentation and professionalism at all times.

Workplace Services

  • Provide first-line IT and AV support.
  • Deliver an enhanced workplace experience aligned with the client's brand.
  • Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for workplace and local area information.
  • Manage lost property processes.
  • Create, update, and display workplace signage.
  • Maintain client-facing areas to agreed layout, housekeeping, and presentation standards.
  • Support visitor access management, including check-in, check-out, and pass issuing.
  • Host contractors and visitors while on site.
  • Escalate service feedback and workplace concerns as appropriate.

Facilities & Operations

  • Proactively identify and report building issues to support swift resolution.
  • Support locker management, bike registrations, and other workplace services.
  • Generate and distribute operational reports as required.
  • Conduct audits of visitor and contractor passes and report discrepancies.
  • Monitor and report safety, security, and compliance issues.
  • Report system malfunctions promptly.

Security & Compliance

  • Respond to and coordinate First Aid and Security incidents.
  • Protect the client's people, property, and assets.
  • Comply with all health, safety, security, and legal requirements.
  • Complete all security-related duties in accordance with site procedures and Assignment Instructions.
  • Support the delivery of a safe, secure, and compliant workplace environment.

About You

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Experience within hospitality, concierge, front-of-house, workplace experience, or corporate environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable supporting senior stakeholders and visitors.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solution-focused.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working through change and transformation.
  • Confident using technology and supporting basic IT and AV requirements.
  • Professional, approachable, and committed to delivering a consistently high-quality workplace experience.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of a busy corporate headquarters, takes pride in delivering outstanding service, and is excited by the opportunity to support colleagues as they transition into a brand-new workplace.
