Full job description

SIA Licensed Security Officer – Permanent Position

Location: Buckley, Flintshire

Start Date: 1st July 2026

We are seeking a reliable and professional SIA Licensed Security Officer to join our team on a permanent basis.

This role is ideal for someone looking for additional income, semi-retired individuals, or those seeking a position that offers flexibility and time for other commitments during the day.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday

* Open the building at 07:00 and remain on site until 08:30

* Return to secure and close the building from 16:30 until 19:00

No weekend working and no bank holiday cover required.

Key Duties:

* Opening and securing the premises each day

* Carrying out routine security and welfare checks

* Locking and securing the building at the end of the day

* Maintaining site security and reporting any incidents or concerns

* Completing any required records and reports

* Responding to occasional alarm activations and call-outs on an ad hoc basis when required

Essential Requirements:

* Valid SIA Licence

* Excellent punctuality and attendance record

* Highly reliable, trustworthy and professional

* Confident communicator with good spoken and written English

* Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the site

* Full right to work in the UK

Desirable Requirements:

* Previous experience in security, keyholding or alarm response

* Own transport

* Living within or close to the Buckley area due to the split-shift nature of the role
