More Than Joining a Choir — Help Build a Worship Movement

The Worship & Music Ministry of Ministry of Christ is expanding, and we are looking for gifted and passionate vocalists to become part of a developing worship collective.

Our vision goes beyond building a Sunday choir.

We want to bring together singers, musicians, worshippers and creatives who can grow together, develop an excellent and distinctive sound, undertake creative worship projects and build a worship ministry capable of reaching people beyond the walls of the local church.

Over time, our vision is to develop a worship team with the capacity to participate in original music projects, live worship recordings, worship events, conferences, collaborations, digital releases and national and international ministry opportunities as doors open.

We are looking for people who would be excited to help build that vision from its early stages.

There Are Opportunities for Different Levels

Established Vocalists

Already singing or performing?

Bring your voice, experience and creativity into a team where you can contribute to developing arrangements, harmonies, worship projects and the emerging sound and identity of the collective.

Developing Vocalists

You may have a good voice but have never had professional training or the right environment in which to develop it.

We want to identify potential and help develop it.

Through rehearsals, vocal development and working alongside other singers and musicians, developing vocalists will have opportunities to strengthen their voices, improve technique, learn harmony and blending, build confidence and develop their ability for Kingdom purpose.

What You Could Become Part Of

As the ministry develops, opportunities may include:

- Live worship and church services

- Vocal development and structured rehearsals

- Original worship songs and songwriting projects

- Studio and live recording projects

- Worship nights and special events

- Conferences and ministry programmes

- Digital worship content

- Collaborations with other singers, musicians and creatives

- Opportunities to develop as a lead or supporting vocalist

- Helping build a worship collective with national and international vision

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for people who:

- Love Jesus and have a genuine heart for worship

- Have vocal ability or clear vocal potential

- Want to develop their musical gift

- Value excellence while remaining teachable

- Can work creatively and collaboratively with others

- Are willing to rehearse and commit to agreed projects

- Want their musical gifts to serve a greater Kingdom purpose

Previous choir or church-worship experience is welcome but is not essential.

Some applicants may already be accomplished singers.

Others may simply have a gift waiting for the right environment, training and opportunity.

Both are welcome.

We are not simply looking for people to occupy positions.

We are looking for voices, worshippers and creatives who want to build something together.

This is currently a voluntary opportunity. Reasonable pre-agreed expenses genuinely incurred in carrying out the role will be reimbursed.
