Full job description
We are looking for karaoke hosts with an outgoing personality and the ability to hold a tune to join us.
Experience is not required - if you have the talent, the right personality and the commitment to work regularly every weekend then we will take the time to train you ourselves. Your own transport is a massive advantage as it will be your responsibility to get to and from your own gigs each night which can finish late at night in areas with no public transport. Carrying equipment in your own vehicle is NOT required.
We work regularly in pubs, clubs and hotels all across West Central Scotland and have gained an excellent reputation over the past fifteen years for high quality sound and high quality staff. Because of this, we are always expanding and looking for more first rate singers and lively karaoke presenters to join us.
All equipment required is provided by us, and as mentioned, is of a high standard.
All training will be provided by us. This includes being shown all aspects of working the equipment and shadowing some of the experienced staff. Also, we have a rehearsal room which you are free to use so you can learn the equipment and software before going out training, and also rehearse or learn new songs, both before you start working and once you’re out working regularly. Unlike some companies, you will not be thrown out to work yourself until you are comfortable and we feel you are ready - which will ensure you are prepared and we keep our reputation for top quality staff. This can take as little as a night or two, especially if you have some experience already, or can take several weeks.
We also provide cabaret singers to venues, corporate events and private parties. If you have the talent, personality and commitment, then there is the opportunity to progress in to doing this. If you do, we will get you recorded, get your photos done and feature you on our website and all our promotional literature. This doesn’t suit everyone, as the quality of your singing required is much higher than that needed for a karaoke host, but the opportunity is there for the right people, if they want.
Please note, all our karaoke hosts and DJs work exclusively for us. Because of this we are generally not suited to those that have been working for themselves, have their own equipment or currently work through agencies. However, this does not apply to our cabaret singers and tribute acts, which have the option of working exclusively through us with our equipment, or we can provide them work on an agency basis if they have their own set up.
If you have a talent for singing, a lively outgoing personality and your own transport then get in touch and we will get back to you with more information.
