Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Instrumental Music Teacher in singing, piano, violin, cello, drums, guitar, bass, to inspire and teach students across various age groups at their home . The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging music lessons, fostering a love for music, and supporting students’ musical development. Although. What we expect from you

  • Plan and deliver comprehensive instrumental music lessons tailored to students’ ages and skill levels.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and enjoyment of music.
  • Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Organise performances, recitals, and group activities to showcase students’ talents.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans.
  • Support students in developing behavioural management skills related to musical practice.
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and upcoming events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience teaching instrumental music
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of special education needs (SEN) not needed, but considerate.
  • Experience teaching physical education or integrating movement into music lessons is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with creative writing techniques can enhance lesson planning and student engagement.
  • A recognised qualification in music education or related field is preferred but not essential.
