Full job description

Ihttps://imperium-global.com/

Hiring for July & September start dates.

If you want a graduate role where your work actually matters, keep reading.

Imperium Global is a specialist executive search firm operating in industries that quite literally shape the world around us: construction, infrastructure, renewable energy, advanced tech, and data centres. We specialise in the US, working with senior leaders and companies generating billions in revenue, helping them hire the people who drive major projects forward. We're looking for driven, personable graduates (max 2 years from graduation) to join us as Executive Search Consultants and shape the future of Imperium.

Why this is different from most graduate roles

  • You’re speaking with decision-makers from day one.

No endless admin or coffee-run stereotypes. You’ll work directly with founders, directors, and C-suite candidates across the US.

  • You can progress ridiculously fast

Everyone at Imperium started at entry level. Many consultants become managers within a year, and the path to Managing Director is genuinely achievable in under five years for top performers.

  • The earning potential is real.

Commission goes up to 60% (compared to the industry standard of 30%), and consultants often earn £50k+ in a single month. Some of them are in their first full year in the job.

  • You’ll build commercial skills most grads don’t get for years.

Negotiation, sales strategy, relationship building, interviewing senior leaders, and understanding how major businesses operate globally.

What you’ll actually do

  • Build relationships with new clients in your specialist market, identifying opportunities, approaching businesses, and developing long-term partnerships.
  • Headhunt and interview senior candidates to guide them through career moves
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored executive search solutions while managing every step of the hiring process, from candidate interviews to post-hire follow-ups.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms
  • Become an expert in a niche industry - within commercial construction, data centres, or infrastructure, you’ll develop deep market knowledge that makes you valuable fast.

Training and support

Imperium Global runs a structured internal academy led by experienced learning and development specialists. Within six weeks, you’ll be trained to operate as a full 360 consultant, meaning you can win business and place candidates independently. It doesn't stop there - we have an extensive Experienced Sales and Management Training courses for you to keep upskilling your performance.

The perks

  • Competitive base salary + industry leading commission up to 60%, uncapped
  • Regular performance bonuses and gifts
  • Quarterly all-expenses-paid trips (recent destinations include Ibiza, Courchevel, Barcelona, and Miami)
  • Monthly team experiences like Michelin-star dinners, overnight retreats, boat parties
  • Private healthcare and various discounts

What makes someone succeed here?

  • Commercial curiosity: you like understanding how businesses work
  • Resilience: you bounce back quickly when things don’t go your way
  • Professional persistence: you’re proactive without being pushy
  • Strong communication: you listen well and build rapport naturally
  • Creativity: you enjoy solving problems and thinking differently

This is a demanding, office-based, fast-paced, and performance-driven environment - its not for everyone. But if you want rapid progression, life-changing earning potential, and a career that teaches you high-value commercial skills early, we want to hear from you!

Please note that you must have full, permanent right to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
