We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Regional Student Recruitment & Partnerships Manager to lead student recruitment and partnership development across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
This role combines student recruitment, business development, education agent management, school partnerships, and event delivery. It is ideal for someone passionate about international education and building long-term relationships with schools, counsellors, and education partners.
Key Responsibilities Student Recruitment
- Promote GEDU Medical programmes to prospective students.
- Conduct student counselling sessions, school presentations, webinars, and information events.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified medical applicants.
- Achieve monthly and annual student recruitment targets.
- Convert enquiries into enrolled students through effective follow-up and relationship management.
High School & Counsellor Development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with secondary schools, sixth-form colleges, careers advisers, university guidance counsellors, principals, and senior leadership teams.
- Organise regular school visits, presentations, and careers events.
- Represent GEDU Medical as the preferred international medical education partner for schools throughout the UK and Ireland.
- Promote international medical pathways to students considering careers in medicine.
Education Agent Management
- Develop and manage relationships with education agents across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
- Identify and appoint new education agent partners.
- Deliver regular training sessions for education counsellors on GEDU Medical programmes and admissions requirements.
- Support agent partners with marketing resources, student counselling, and recruitment activities.
- Monitor agent performance against agreed recruitment objectives.
- Conduct regular business reviews and develop strategies to grow recruitment.
- Organise agent networking events and familiarisation visits where appropriate.
Certificate Programme Events
Organise and deliver GEDU Medical Certificate Programmes including:
- CPR Training
- Suturing Workshops
- Injection Techniques
- Ultrasound Workshops
- Medical Career Discovery Programmes
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and coordinating events.
- Booking venues and managing logistics.
- Coordinating doctors, trainers, and facilitators.
- Working with schools and colleges to promote events.
- Managing registrations and attendee communications.
- Delivering engaging educational experiences.
- Generating prospective student leads through event participation.
Education Exhibitions & Events
- Represent GEDU Medical at education exhibitions, UCAS-style events, school careers fairs, and recruitment exhibitions.
- Deliver presentations to students, parents, teachers, and careers advisers.
- Build awareness of GEDU Medical across the UK and Ireland.
- Promote the organisation through both in-person and virtual recruitment activities.
Partnership Development
Develop and manage strategic partnerships with:
- Secondary schools
- Sixth-form colleges
- Careers advisers
- Education agents
- Education consultants
- Medical organisations
- Student associations
- Government and education stakeholders
Regional Travel
Extensive travel throughout:
- England
- Scotland
- Wales
- Northern Ireland
- Republic of Ireland
Additional international travel may be required to attend conferences, exhibitions, partner meetings, and GEDU Global events.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of student enrolment targets.
- Growth in active education agent partnerships.
- Growth in school and college partnerships.
- Number of careers adviser and counsellor engagements.
- Successful delivery of certificate programme events.

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Minimum three years’ experience in international education, student recruitment, business development, or partnership management.
- Experience working with schools, colleges, universities, or education agents.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent organisational and event management skills.
- Ability to work independently across multiple regions.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK and Ireland.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience in higher education recruitment or international student recruitment is highly desirable.
