£840 - £1308 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

September 2026 – July 2027

The School and Role

We are looking for a Year 3 Teacher to work in a large primary school in North Shields. This full-time role is set to begin September 2026 and will run Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Working as part of an established Key Stage 2 team, the desired Year 3 Teacher will take responsibility for a mixed ability class, supported by an experienced Teaching Assistant. The role will involve full class teaching responsibilities, including planning and delivering engaging lessons, preparing pupils for SATs, assessing progress, and contributing to the wider life of the school.

The school is part of a well-regarded multi-academy trust, and as the main supplier to the trust, Vision for Education has a strong and established relationship with the setting. The school offers a supportive leadership team, excellent facilities, and a collaborative working environment.

This position is open to both Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers, although recent experience in Lower Key Stage 2 and knowledge of Year 6 expectations would be advantageous.

Requirements

The desired Year 3 Teacher will have:

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children, ideally Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • QTS within the UK
