SEN Teaching Assistant - Camden

We are currently recruiting passionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistants to work within specialist SEN schools and inclusive provisions across Camden, supporting pupils from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to Key Stage 4 (KS4).

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a wide range of additional needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, complex learning needs, and behavioural challenges.

The Role:

You will be working within specialist SEN settings, supporting pupils either 1:1 or in small groups. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting learning across EYFS, primary, and secondary levels
  • Delivering tailored interventions and structured support programmes
  • Assisting pupils with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
  • Supporting positive behaviour strategies and engagement in learning
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists
  • Promoting independence, confidence, and progress for every learner
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable)
  • Calm, resilient, and patient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt support across a wide age and ability range (EYFS-KS4)
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
