FRONT OF HOUSE – New Wine Bar & Pasta Place (Stow-on-the-Wold)

2 roles available | Opening February | Full-Time & Part-Time

We’re opening something brand-new in Stow-on-the-Wold this February: an untraditional, very Cotswolds-vibe wine bar & pasta place — cosy, relaxed, and quality-led. Think incredible pasta, seasonal small plates, and a wine list that’s made to be explored (without any stuffiness).

We’re recruiting two Front of House team members — one full-time and one part-time — to work together, support each other, and help set the tone from day one.

Who we’re looking for

You’re warm, confident, and naturally great with people. You care about the details, love giving excellent service, and you bring good energy to every shift. You don’t need to be a sommelier — but you do need a genuine interest in wine and the excitement to learn, recommend, and create a brilliant guest experience.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering exceptional customer service from welcome to goodbye
  • Hosting guests in a friendly, relaxed way (Cotswolds charm + professionalism)
  • Learning the wine list and confidently making recommendations
  • Supporting wine tasting options and sharing pairing suggestions with pasta/small plates
  • Running sections, taking orders, serving, clearing, and keeping standards high
  • Helping create the atmosphere: music, lighting, pace, and attention to detail
